I thought that this Christmas would be easier than last, but it isn't. I was doing okay until a few weeks ago when the girls started decorating the Christmas tree. I was working on the computer and they were putting the decorations on. They said "Mom do you want to put this one on?", I turned to see them holding up the ornament your Aunt Carol and Uncle Billy made for all of us last Christmas. It is a silver globe and it has your picture in the middle, it's beautiful. Needless to say I burst into tears. I could not speak, the girls started apologizing to me and telling me it would be alright and what a nice picture it was of you. They are my strength. Anyway, I got my composure back and the girls told me that you would like it if I put it on the tree, but that I didn't have to. Well, I hung it top front and center. We all teared up and smiled.
I wish you were here Robert. Things just aren't the same without you.
I know your up there chowing down on Birthday Cake with Jesus. I'm sure your DJing the party. Tell him we said Happy Birhtday. Spin away!!!
