Robert was the Man posted by Jason Lewis | | I didn't know Robert very well, but what I knew was enough... | One word describes Robert, and that word is Noble. He did things that few other people would have done, and lost His life for standing up for what He believed in. I met Robert about three years ago, when I was living with some friends in Gaithersburg, Md. One of My roomies said they knew a guy that wanted to get a tattoo done, and brought him over. I did all of Robert's tattoos that I know of, unless He got some after I lost contact with Him.
Sometime after I met Him, I had to pawn My radio for groceries. When Robert found out about it, He gave Me the money to get My raido out of the pawn shop. I asked Him why. He told Me that He didn't give Me the money to get My radio back, that He had just bought us the food that I bought with the money I had gotten from the pawn shop. Robert was indeed a Noble person. I've never met anyone like Him snce, and I doubt I ever will.
May He rest in peace in the Lord's care.
